Larry Rosler
Larry Rosler (lyricist, bookwriter) co-wrote the book for Island in collaboration with Joe Bravaco, with music and lyrics by Peter Link. Island, which has been presented by Portland Stage Company and Virginia Stage Company, was recently seen in a revised version at the York Theatre Company in Manhattan.
As an actor, Larry toured with the national company of Larry Gelbart's Sly Fox, starring Jackie Gleason and Cleavon Little, directed by Arthur Penn. On Broadway he understudied Chris Cooper in David French's Of the Fields, Lately. He also appeared at the Kennedy Center in the Folger Theatre production of Tina Howe's Museum. Other credits include A.R. Gurney's Who Killed Richard Corey? (Circle Repertory Company) Susan Dworkin's Deli's Fable (Playwrights Horizons), Tad Mosel's All the Way Home (Equity Theatre Libray), and Christopher Martin's adaptation of Moby Dick (Classic Stage Comany).
Larry has performed at the Allenberry Playhouse and has also been an artist in residence at Toledo University and the State University of New York at Stony Brook, appearing in The Play's the Thing, Black Comedy;White Lies, Sleuth, Pygmalion and The Real Inspector Hound.
