Joe Bravaco
Joe is the author of a number of plays, including All-Star produced by Chicago's Victory Gardens Theatre as part of its New Playwrights Series, Break Point, written in collaboration with Mike Lanzafama and produced by Washington D.C.'s Source Theatre, and Matthew's Navigator, winner of three national one-act play competitions. He has also written the book and lyrics for The Flowering Thorn, with music by Robert Cioffi. Based on The Picture of Dorian Gray by Oscar Wilde, The Flowering Thorn was produced off-Broadway at the Cubiculo Theatre under the title Dorian Gray. Joe Bravaco co-wrote the book for Island in collaboration with Larry Rosler, with music and lyrics by Peter Link. The four character musical was produced by Portland Stage Company and Virginia Stage Company and further developed at the York Theatre Company in Manhattan with Terry Burrell, Ann Crumb, Paul Binato and Byron Utley.
